Abstract

This project will quantify the quality differences between treated and untreated coir substrate products and the identify differences in growth, yield and quality of cut flowers grown in different coir products.

The results of the project will be developed into a report and also a series of extension materials (magazine articles and/or fact sheets for industry) outlining differences in physical and chemical properties of treated and untreated coir mixes and also the observed differences between production quality and yield of specific cut flower products.
